Purpose:
The purpose of the Roosevelt Neighborhood Land Use Committee is to bring greater attention to land use and design affecting the Roosevelt Neighborhood. To this end, the Land Use Committee’s primary tasks are to:
- Identify and monitor land use proposals and actions that affect the Roosevelt Neighborhood;
- Inform city officials, developers, and other concerned parties about the Roosevelt Neighborhood Plan and its vision for the design, character, and health of the community;
- Disseminate timely information to the members of the Roosevelt community and other concerned parties regarding land use and design affecting the neighborhood, including new land use proposals and upcoming design review meetings;
- Inform members of the Roosevelt community about actions they can take in response to land use proposals and actions;
- Serve as the primary steward of the land use and design guidelines contained within the Roosevelt Neighborhood Plan and insure that they are periodically and appropriately reviewed and updated.
