At the May 2013 RNA general meeting, representatives from the City of Seattle and GCH, a landscape and planning consultant, presented their “green streets” plan to the community. The plan emphasizes pedestrian and bicycle improvements surrounding the forthcoming Roosevelt Light Rail Station. The plan is in the final stage of review by the Seattle Department of Transportation, and will likely be adopted as an appendix to their right-of-way improvement manual.
