Seattle’s Neighborhood Night Out is Tuesday, August 6, 2013.
Anyone can register a block party and planning is easy. Your event can be as simple as a potluck with your nearest neighbors, or an event with the entire street, music and all. The “Night Out” block parties are a fun way to get to know your neighbors and unite against crime.
Easy and free registration allows you to:
– Block off your non-arterial street
– Play music in the street while eating, mingling, etc.
– Print invites for your neighbors
– Print street closure signs
– Request that a volunteer from the Office of Emergency Management visits your event
– Get information on how to set up block watches
– and more…
Register your event today! The Roosevelt Neighborhood is part of the North Precinct.
