Peaks Frozen Custard on 65th St is closing its Roosevelt store at the end of the month. According to the owner, Timothy Wolfe, the decision was driven by the desire for a lifestyle change. He and his husband have raised a family in the Maple Leaf Neighborhood for the past 20 years and will remain there. Wolfe doesn’t know what’s next but hints that Peaks products may still be seen out and about in Seattle. In addition to managing the shop, Wolfe was a strong organizer of the Roosevelt business community and a member of the RNA. His leadership in these areas will be greatly missed.
Visit Peaks through the end of the month to celebrate all they’ve given to the neighborhood.
