Last week the Seattle Parks Department used sheep to clear brush and blackberry vines along the north bank of Cowen Park. The fifteen sheep were used instead of large machinery, which wasn’t immediately available for rent. The herd belongs to Rent-A-Ruminant. They were managed by their wrangler, Pete Yamamoto, and an electric fence.
