A reminder that the second installment of the Roosevelt Land Use Academy is happening this Saturday, September 19th. It was fantastic to see so many people at the last session, and we plan to have an informative and insightful event this time around.
The topic for this session is “Current Issues in Land Use Planning” – representatives from city government and other organizations will be giving a series of short talks about the issues Roosevelt faces around density, transit, parks, sustainability etc. followed by time for discussion.
The event is from 10:00am to 11:30am, Saturday September 19th, at Calvary Christian Assembly, Room 313, on Roosevelt Way NE and 68th St. Future sessions in October and November will discuss in detail the potential developments around the light-rail station, the high school, and the reservoir.
All welcome!
