North East Seattle Together (NEST) is hosting a community gathering, dessert potluck, and lecture with Dr. Lorraine McConaghy.

Dr. McConaghy, a captivating public historian at the Museum of History and Industry, will discuss her book: New Land, North of the Columbia.

  • View history through letters, images, ads, and other documents
  • Peruse history from the original call for secession from Oregon Territory to today
  • Examine the “What If” of proposed ideas in Washington that were never completed

NEST is an aging in place 501(c)3 non-profit fostering community connections, vitality and stability in the neighborhoods between N.E. 110th Street, the Montlake Cut, Interstate 5 and Lake Washington.
