Roosevelt is growing and changing fast. Your membership helps ensure that neighbors – not just developers and politicians who don’t live here – have a say in what our community becomes.
The Roosevelt Neighborhood Association is an all-volunteer nonprofit made up of people like you who care about Roosevelt’s future. We show up to city meetings, organize neighborhood cleanups, support local businesses, and advocate for a community where everyone can thrive.

What We Do
- Monthly Adopt-A-Street cleanups every first Saturday – all ages are welcome to join, meet your neighbors, and help keep Roosevelt beautiful.
- Support local businesses through our Business of the Month program and the Roosevelt-Ravenna Business Alliance.
- Maintain emergency preparedness hubs so you know where to go and how to get help when disaster strikes.
- Monitor land use and development proposals to give residents a voice in how the neighborhood grows – for example, the RNA was the driving force for ensuring that the Link light rail station was built in the center of the neighborhood, rather than under I-5 as initially planned.
- Advocate for the interests of Roosevelt residents, such as hosting City Council members on neighborhood walks and inviting city planners to RNA meetings to provide updates and hear comments on new proposals.
- Keep everyone connected through our newsletter, events calendar, and monthly meetings where neighbors make real decisions about Roosevelt’s future.
What Membership Means
You’ll get:

More importantly, your support enables:
- The organizing, advocacy, and community building that keeps Roosevelt growing, vibrant, and inclusive.
- Vibrant festivals and events such as the Rooted in Roosevelt Festival.
- A stronger voice at city meetings – every member counts.

- The ability for us to show up and do the work.
Membership Is Pay-What-You-Can
General membership is $35/year
This covers operating costs like this website, newsletter tools, cleanup supplies, and seed funding for neighborhood events and activities.
But here’s the thing: we want you as a member regardless of what you can contribute financially. Roosevelt is a diverse community, and we believe everyone deserves to participate in shaping their neighborhood.
When you check out, you have the option to pay what works for you—whether that’s $0, $35, $50, or more.
Tight budget? Join for free or pay what you can – even $10 or $20 a year goes a long way for our small, grassroots organization!
Want to do more? Many people pay $50-100+ to help cover the cost for neighbors who are stretched thin.
Large household? Some families contribute extra.
It’s all on the honor system, and you can adjust the amount you pay annually or cancel your membership at any time from your membership page, which will be created when you join.
Join us in helping build an equitable, enjoyable, and forward-looking Roosevelt!
