The annual Rooted in Roosevelt neighborhood celebration is coming on September 19th, 2026! Here are four early opportunities to help us bring this year’s event to life:
1. Design our event poster 🎨
We are seeking local artists to help us design an event poster! This is a paid opportunity, and we will credit the artist on social media and at the event.

2. Perform at Rooted 🎸
We are looking for local musical groups of all ages, backgrounds, and genres to perform at Rooted in Roosevelt! Last year, over 1,000 attendees came to see our musical acts. This is a paid opportunity.

3. Help us fundraise 🫶
Donations are crucial to keep this event going! In our first year, we got funding from a city grant—but we can’t apply for it two years in a row. We need our neighbors to step in and fill the gap!
Your donation goes directly to Rooted in Roosevelt: it helps us pay our talented artist and musicians, reduces the barriers for small community groups to participate, and lets us run more programming.
