Roosevelt Reimagined
| Help us beautify our neighborhood! We have many empty lots with chain link fences around them, just waiting for art to appear. What is it? Community-made artwork on fences of vacant lots on 65th. Yarn art, painted wood cutouts, a Roosevelt sign or other designs. How? An artist will create a design which will be executed by you and your neighbors! What can I do? Help install art! Week of 8/17: Monday 8/17 at 6pm – 8:30pm – Yarn installation Saturday 8/22 at 10am – 1pm – Yarn installation Saturday 8/22 at 10am – 12pm – Fence plant clean-up Sunday 8/23 at 10a – 1pm – Yarn installation Sunday 8/23 at 11am – 1pm – Wooden flower and mural panel installation How do I get involved? Reach out to Jack @ jack.nash@rooseveltseattle.org or just show up on the day–you will be welcome! |
