Hello again! Always so much going on in Roosevelt!
Free Trees!
Seattle Public Utilities is offering free trees including free delivery, watering bag, mulch, and training. They are also offering an opportunity to see the tree species available. This is a sweet deal and they have a very limited supply of trees. If you are interested, I would recommend submitting an application as soon as possible.

July 24, 530-700 PM, Summer Resource Fair and Potluck, Cedar Crossing Apartments, 6620 Roosevelt Way NE; 67th will be closed so we can party in the street! Information and resources of all types and an opportunity to meet and greet your neighbors!
July 26, 12-2 PM, Ravenna Refills Tarot and Oracle Swap
July 31 & August 1, 7-8 PM, GreenStage Shakespeare in the Park, Cowen Park
August 1, 9:45 AM-noon, Adopt-A-Street neighborhood litter pickup. Meet in the All Nations parking lot. Join us to help keep Roosevelt tidy! Details here.
August 1 and August 2, 10 AM-2 PM. Roosevelt Reimagined. Help beautify the neighborhood by joining with us to put art on some of the chain link fences around empty lots! No experience or artistic skills required. All are welcome. See below for more details.
August 5, 7:30-9 PM, RNA monthly meeting. Cedar Crossing Community Room, 6620 Roosevelt Way NE. More details here.
August 9, 12-2 PM, Clothing Swap. Ravenna Refills, 6505 16th Av NE. Bring some clothes and take some home! (If you are in need of clothing and have none to spare, please come by and get some).

Roosevelt Reimagined
The Roosevelt Neighborhood Association is installing temporary artwork on fences along NE 65th St to beautify the vacant lots.
We are hosting community paint days on Sat 8/1 and Sun 8/2 from 10am-2pm at NE 65th St and 14th Ave. We will be painting wooden flowers and a larger piece designed by local artist Anna Tono to be installed on the fences.
We are also looking for volunteers to help with installing yarn art designed by local artist Christian Rincon, preparing materials, or prepping the fences.

Hello Roosevelt neighbor!
We’d love to have you join us for the upcoming Emergency Hub exercise – ‘Quake, Rattle, and Roll’!
* Saturday, August 15, 2026
* 10am to 1pm
* All Nations Church, 6801 Roosevelt Way NE
This will be a large, hands-on drill filled with interesting situations that could realistically happen after a major disaster. Participants will help work through challenges, share information, solve problems, and practice supporting one another when normal services are disrupted.
If you’ve wanted to know how an emergency hub works this is your chance!No experience necessary. You can simply observe, ask questions, or join in.There are three other sites in the City of Seattle. See the details below.

Please mark your calendar and consider inviting a friend or neighbor to attend with you. The more people who participate, the more realistic and useful the drill will be.

Trivia Night!
Save the Date – 2nd Monday Trivia Night! 7-9 PM. Roosevelt Neighborhood Association trivia meetup at Project 9 Brewing, 1409 NE 80th St. Join us for a fun and casual trivia night at Project 9 Brewing on June 8. This event is meant to bring neighbors together – no trivia expertise required.
We will be there every 2nd Monday going forward, and hopefully you will be, too!
Look for the Roosevelt Neighborhood Association table (there will be a moose!)—we’ll have a couple of members there to welcome you. You’re welcome to play or just hang out. No RSVP needed; come solo or bring friends.
Project 9 is an all ages venue.
Whether you’re new to the neighborhood or have lived here for years, this is an easy way to connect and be part of the community. See you then!
