Celebrating Seattle's Roosevelt Neighborhood
RNA | The Roosevelt Neighborhood Association

Business Roundtable

The mission of the Roosevelt Business Roundtable is to bring vitality to and interest in our neighborhood through collaborative efforts among businesses, the Roosevelt Neighborhood Association, the City of Seattle, private developers, Sound Transit, residents, schools, and other interested parties. We currently meet monthly but the dates, times, and locations are subject to change, so please come back here to see the schedule for the next one or email rna@rooseveltseattle.org.

The next Roundtable meeting will be in the lobby of the Eye Clinics of Seattle at 7:30 PM on October 22, 2024. 6618 Roosevelt.

Roosevelt faces many challenges, including security, litter, graffiti, abandoned buildings, theft, break-ins, and vacant lots. At the same time, this is a vibrant, growing neighborhood with unique advantages for businesses and residents. Using the power of our collective voice can make a bright future for Roosevelt a reality.

One of the primary activities of the Roundtable is considering the creation of a Business Improvement Area. This is a city-approved area within a specified geographic area in which each commercial building (including multifamily residence buildings) are assessed a fee which is then used by the BIA for safety, security, beautification, events, and other activities and services that benefit the neighborhood. A BIA can also be a powerful voice of advocacy when we come together to tell the city what our neighborhood needs.
